Established in 1967, Newcastle Golf Course is a semi-private, 6,100 yard scenic 18 hole golf course.

Play a challenging golf game in a quiet country setting.  You start your round on the toughest rated hole, the Par 4, 414 yard #1.  Afterwards, enjoy the remaining 17 holes which are bordered by fields and wooded valleys.

The front nine are rolling and spacious while the back nine are hilly.  Number 11 is fondly known as The Monster - voted #1 for Best Par 5 in Clarington.  Mature trees line the fairways.  A putting and chipping green is available.

Fairways are wide but if one strays too close to the edges, it means rubbing shoulders with the various species of mature trees.  The rolling fairways provide plenty of opportunities to make your favourite shots.

Most of fairway lies are either uphill, downhill or sidehill and scoring well depends on your playing strategy.  Newcastle offers a real country atmosphere in the natural rolling terrain located in the eastern part of the Durham Region.

You can find Newcastle Golf Course situated 5 km. East of the Hwy. 401 and Hwy. 115 Junction. Exit Hwy. 401 at Mill Street in Newcastle, go North to King Ave. (Hwy. 2), then East for 3 km., and North on Golf Course Road.
